Privacy
Short version: we don't store your chats, we don't track you around the web, and Aurora only learns from a chat if you tick the box.
Chatting with Aurora
Your messages go to Google Gemini or Cloudflare's AI so Aurora can answer. We don't keep them. On Google's free tier, Google may use messages to improve its AI, including review by people, so please don't share card numbers, passwords or anything private.
"Help Aurora learn from this chat"
This box is unticked every time. Only if you tick it, we keep that one chat for 90 days, then it is deleted automatically. Before it is saved we remove email addresses, phone and ID numbers, links and names you wrote after "my name is". Nothing about you (like your IP address) is saved with it. Aurora reads these chats to find answers she got wrong or questions she couldn't answer. Untick the box to stop.
What we count
To improve the site we count a few events per day, with no details about you or what you wrote: a link in a chat was opened, a quote request was started, a chat ended or had an error. To stop abuse we also count how many messages each network sends per day; that counter is deleted after 2 days.
Your name
Aurora asks what to call you; it's optional (tap Skip). Your first name stays in your browser tab and is sent with your chat so she can address you. We don't keep it.
Your trip details
What you tell Aurora about your trip is kept only in your browser tab, so a property's "Get a quote" form can fill itself in. It never reaches us, and it is cleared when you start a new chat.
Quotes
"Get a quote" opens WhatsApp on your phone with your message ready. You send it yourself, straight to the property's official number; it doesn't pass through us.
Where our data comes from
Listings come from the Ministry of Tourism's public register; bus and ferry times from RTL and MTCC; island names and positions from Wikidata. We never publish owners' personal details.
